External processing
R&Dish sends prompts and the minimum relevant context about the menu or ingredients to Fireworks AI at https://api.fireworks.ai/inference/v1 for brief parsing and direction generation. The primary model is accounts/fireworks/models/kimi-k2p6; accounts/fireworks/models/glm-5p2 is used as the fallback for outages or operating conditions. Epicure, FoodOn, FlavorGraph, and multilingual E5 relation or entity resolution is processed locally against artifacts loaded into Supabase PostgreSQL; ingredient names are not sent to those model providers for these lookups. Food or product queries are sent to USDA FoodData Central or Open Food Facts only when the corresponding feature is enabled. For each external processing attempt, R&Dish records workspace operation identifiers, provider, model, purpose, request byte count, status, and retention deadline. Provider-side data retention is governed by the provider’s terms. Do not enter unnecessary personal, health, confidential, or regulated information.
